We want you to be informed on everything - prior to booking

Booking fees

Prior to booking, all policies and preparation information MUST be reviewed. When you book, you will be asked if you agree to our terms and conditions and cancellation policy. When you check that, you are agreeing to all of our studio policies, so please make sure you read them in their entirety. If you receive a contract via email after booking, be sure to fill it out sign it and send it back within 48 hours of booking or your appointment may be canceled.

A NON REFUNDABLE booking fee, or Valid Credit card on file, is required to book your appointment. Booking fees are only valid on the date, time, the service and the artist that it is booked with. Booking fees are in place to ensure you are serious about your appointment.

all Appointments are NON TRANSFERABLE. You cannot transfer your booking fee to another date, another artist or to someone else for them to use. 

IF YOU HAVE ANY PREVIOUS PERMANENT COSMETICS, we require you to email us clear photos of your tattoo work for approval PRIOR booking, as not all previous work can be covered or tattooed over. If you come in to your appointment with previous work without prior approval from the artist you are booking with and it cannot be touched up or fixed, your booking fee will NOT be returned or your card will be charged. Previous tattoo work from another studio will be considered new client at new client pricing.


If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, your booking fee will NOT be returned or your card will be charged, and you will be asked to re-book. Please keep traffic/construction/weather in mind when traveling. We will no be able to accommodate for late arrivals as this will put us behind for our other clients and their scheduled times.

A valid, physical ID is required at the time of your appointment. If you arrive without a physical ID, you will be asked to re-book., Your booking fee will NOT be returned or your card will be charged. 

If you do not show up to your appointment without contacting the studio prior or reschedule within two weeks of your appointment time, your booking fee will NOT be returned or your card will be charged. if you have not put down a deposit and have a card on file. The cancellation fee is equivalent of 20% of your service booked. 

If you choose to cancel your appointment, your booking fee will NOT be returned or your card will be charged. 

If consistent rescheduling occurs, you may be asked to pre-pay the full cost of the appointment. 

Touch Ups

If your 8 week touch-up appointment is included with the cost of your initial appointment, it must be scheduled within 6-12 weeks & will be booked at the time of your initial session. If you reschedule your 8 week touch up and it falls outside of the allotted time frame, you will be required to book online as an "additional touch-up" with an additional cost, varying in cost depending on the artist. With limited appointment availability, this helps protect the time of each artist. 

Yearly touch-up appointments must be booked with the artist who did the original work. If you wish to have another artist do a touch-up, you will book at their new client pricing. Please keep in mind these are tattoos. Tattooing the skin very frequently will result in poor results, so when booking touch-ups, please wait until you are in dire need. Spacing your appointments out as much as possible will lead to better results.

Medical Issues



  • Pregnant/Breastfeeding (ideally we would like you to wait a few months after breastfeeding for the best results but it isn't required to wait after stopping)

  • Under the age of 18

  • Chemotherapy (Must be after 1yr of receiving treatment)

  • Accutane users past or present (call for more info)

  • Sunburnt or Tanned Skin

  • Certain Skincare with AHA Acids or Retinols. Please view our prep page for more info. 

  • Using any medical grade skincare lines or dermatologist prescribed medications

  • Certain skin types INCLUDES extremely oily skin (microblading only)

  • If you have any skin disorders in area to be tattooed (eczema, acne rash, etc.)

  • Blood thinning medications 

  • Any scarring or hyper pigmentation issues

  • Are on and have been on Antibiotics within the past month

  • Sick with cold/flu

  • If lip blush is selected service: If you are prone to cold sores, lip tattooing can cause outbreaks. We ask that our clients consult with a physician prior to being tattooed. If you have an outbreak, you will need to reschedule your appointment.

  • If you have ANY MEDICAL CONDITIONS OR ARE ON ANY MEDICATIONS (any autoimmune diseases, cancer, thyroid, diabetes, steroids, etc.) please inform the shop PRIOR to booking. You may not be a candidate for permanent makeup or a doctors note may be required. If you fail to inform us of any medical conditions or any medications and we are unable to tattoo you, your booking fee will NOT be returned and a cancellation fee may be applied as well.

Children & Guests

LYC is licensed as a body art establishment, because of this we do not allow children under the age of 18 in our studio. We strongly encourage you to not bring any extra guests as we have limited seating.

To ensure all clients are treated fairly and no bias occurs within our studio,

 NO EXCEPTIONS will be made!
